FarmWise is an education program offered to irrigators free of charge.
It has been developed by Murrumbidgee Irrigation to assist irrigators in developing a concept plan for the future development of their farm and protection of natural resources.
The aim of FarmWise is to provide you with the necessary skills to develop a recognised Whole Farm Plan that not only suits your current situation but is flexible enough to accommodate changes in your farming system in the future.
FarmWise is an integral component of undertaking and completing a recognised Whole Farm Plan. Your recognised Whole Farm Plan must be flexible enough to allow you to change as markets change and technology improves.
Completing FarmWise is a prerequisite for being eligible for an incentive through the MIA EnviroWise Incentive Program.
