Whole Farm Planning is the umbrella under which MIA EnviroWise on-farm priority actions fit.

Whole farm planning is the umbrella under which all MIA EnviroWise on-farm priority actions fit. In the context of MIA EnviroWise and the incentive program once you have completed a recognised Whole Farm Plan, you may then be eligible for a series of related incentives for on-farm works.

A Whole Farm Plan comprises several different aspects or layers. To complete a recognised Whole Farm Plan you must undertake all of these things:

> a concept plan through participation in this course
> irrigation survey and design
> a Soil Map
> a Vegetation Plan (optional for horticulture)
> a Business Plan (optional)

Completing all these components to obtain a recognised Whole Farm Plan is a prerequisite for accessing other incentives for on-farm activities under the MIA EnviroWise Incentives Program.

MIA EnviroWise program has been made possible thanks to funding from the
Australian and NSW Government's National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality.
