Murrumbidgee Irrigation (MI) together with the Ricegrowers' Association
of Australia, put together a "Rice Growing Policy" also
known as the "Rice Rules". This document endeavours to balance
the interest of rice growers and their businesses with MI's licence
obligations and the MIA environment.
Rice Water Use Targets
Due to the lack of general security allocation, rice updates will not be provided for the 2007/08 year. For cumulative rice water figures in previous years click here.
