Rice Area Transfers

Murrumbidgee Irrigation would like to remind all general security shareholders that the due date for Rice Area Transfers is approaching.Transfer applications must be received by Sunday, 1 December 2002.A rice area transfer may include the following:

• A forward transfer of rice from this season to next season
• A transfer of rice area from one landholder to another
• A rotational arrangement in which the total rice approved area of landholding is grown once in a three year period.
• An overdraw of rice area from next season to the current season.
