Water Access for 2002/2003

Murrumbidgee Irrigation announces an increase in water charges for the 2002/2003 irrigation season.

Geoff Hipkins, Chief Executive of Murrumbidgee Irrigation said "Company water charges will increase by 4% effective from July 2002."

In addition, State Water recently announced an increase in the cost of bulk water which will increase prices by a further 2%.

The total price increase will therefore be 6% effective from July 2002.
