ALLOCATION REMAINS AT 39%

General Security allocation for Murrumbidgee Irrigation shareholders remains at 39%.

Geoff Hipkins, Chief Executive of Murrumbidgee Irrigation said this includes the Company’s 2% enhancement of the DIPNR allocation.

The company seeks the assistance of all water users to ensure their use does not exceed allocation. We encourage everyone to carefully examine their water use requirements for the remainder of the season.

Customers who feel they may be at risk of over using their allocation should contact us immediately to make arrangements for transfer before they run out of water.

“Unfortunately the company does not have access to any additional water and for the first time in many years we will be forced to immediately stop supply to customers exceeding their allocation and impose penalties”, said Mr Hipkins.
