To all shareholders - Water Shortage Update The shortage continues, although some relieving flows have now been received. At this stage we expect to be back on order by the middle of this week and to recommence top up of the depleted systems. We have some concerns for diversions into the Sturt Canal system and will continue to top these up from the main canal where needed. We are also concerned that Wah Wah demand is not able to be met in full and some demand has been deferred until later this week when we expect to have some relief. We have been heartened by the very supportive response from most shareholders. Many have gone beyond a reasonable call to co-operate and help out others with greater need. I offer sincere thanks to you all and I assure you we appreciate your help. Our staff continue to try their hardest to meet the range of needs and share fairly. Please keep in contact with your divisional operators so they understand your needs and expectations over the next few days, and can co-ordinate that in their planning. John Chant |
