WATER PRICES FOR MURRUMBIDGEE IRRIGATION SHAREHOLDERS

Murrumbidgee Irrigation advises shareholders that water service charges for the 2005-2006 water year are the same as last year with the following exceptions.

There will be a charge of $5/ML for annual allocation and carryover for customers who pump from Mirrool Creek subject to phase in arrangements. Any other water will be charged at Wah Wah usage rates.

Drainage reuse supplies in excess of the maximum extraction limit will now be charged at Wah Wah usage rates.

Town water supplies for Councils will increase by the CPI 2.5%.

Charges for small area supplies (less than 4 hectares) will also increase. The Company will contact those people affected during December, to provide further information on the new charges.

Bulk Water charges by State Water have been approved for CPI based increase by the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal.
