23 November 2008 -MI 2008 AGM Outcomes

Around 130 people attended the 2008, 10th Annual General Meeting of Murrumbidgee Irrigation Ltd held on the 20th November at the Griffith Exies Club.

Resolution outcomes were:

(A) Independent Director - CARRIED
Directors approach to the office of Independent Director has been accepted by shareholders. The incumbent David Patterson has been appointed for a further 1 year term.

(B) Auditor’s Remuneration – CARRIED

(C) Shareholder Ordinary Resolution for two shareholder meetings per year - CARRIED

(D) & (E) Director Special Resolution for the reduction of share capital – BOTH CARRIED
The next general meeting will be called before the end of the current financial year (2008/09) for shareholders to consider proposed Constitutional Changes as discussed at the 2008 AGM.
