HIRE OF TRUCKS AND HEAVY PLANT Earthwork contractors are invited to register their interest in carrying out works for Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited (MI) over the twelve month period from 24 March 2012 to 24 March 2013. Suitable plant or trucks include excavators, dozers, loaders, scrapers, graders, truck and dog, and rigid body trucks of 10 to 12 cubic metre capacities. Other items of plant such as rollers and compactors may be included. A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held for interested contractors at our Hanwood Business Centre (Research Station Road, Hanwood) at 5pm, Tuesday 24 January 2012. Tenders are to be submitted on the official tender form attached to tender documents, available from reception at Research Station Road Hanwood or Dunn Avenue Leeton, or downloaded from the links below. Tenders must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked ‘Contract No MI 216 - Hire of Trucks and Heavy Plant.’ Tenders close at 3:30pm, Friday 17 February 2012. The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, in conjunction with the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, August 2009, apply to this contract.
