Asset Management Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assist MI’s Asset Strategy and Performance Team in the development and implementation of asset management plans. The successful applicant will significantly contribute to the effective management of infrastructure assets - including condition assessment, safety inspections and implementation of maintenance and improvement works - for one of the largest private irrigation companies in Australia.

Qualifications / skills

The successful applicant will have: relevant tertiary qualifications; understanding of lifecycle asset management principles; experience in preparation of asset management plans; excellent computer skills; good communication skills and the ability to cultivate good working relationships with stakeholders; and a ‘C’ class driver licence. Knowledge of water industry regulations and legislation will be highly regarded.
