Asset Strategy & Performance Manager

We are seeking a high performing individual, with a strong technical background in engineering and asset management, and a proven track record in continuous improvement and change management. This senior role offers variety, challenge and the opportunity for future career development.
The successful applicant will report to, and be a strategic partner and advisor to, the General Manager – Asset Delivery.  The position will be accountable for the company’s safe and cost-effective asset system performance and timely delivery of capital works, while providing the required levels of customer service.

Murrumbidgee Irrigation (MI) offers an attractive salary and access to salary packaging for superannuation, vehicle lease and remote area housing.  Reimbursement of relocation expenses will be provided, if required.

Qualifications / skills

Strong leadership and management experience are essential, together with excellent people, and written and verbal communications skills. Further essential skills and experience include: tertiary qualifications in Engineering or relevant technical qualifications, accompanied by a minimum of five years of relevant industry or utility experience; experience in asset and/or operations management, including preparation of asset management plans; demonstrated experience in managing staff, budgets and GIS asset databases. Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing change management will be highly desirable.
