Murrumbidgee Irrigation (MI) is one of the largest private irrigation companies in Australia serving over 3,000+ landholdings that is owned by our shareholder customers within an area of 378,000+ hectares. The irrigation water and drainage services we provide have helped create a diverse and highly productive agricultural region known as the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA). The MIA is one of the most diverse and productive regions in Australia, forming part of the Murray-Darling Basin. The MIA is home to over 50,000 people with most jobs tied inextricably to the water we supply to farms and industry. About the role
We are after a passionate Administration Trainee to join our Customer Services team. By joining our business, you will be supported to develop your skills and knowledge by the obtainment of customised development goals using best-practice education approaches including experiential and evidence-based learning, and on-the-job development of skills whist accessing the latest technology.

What you will bring
• Have completed a School Certificate or equivalent
• Be willing to commit to and undertake a 12-month traineeship
• Be willing to undertake formal training to achieve a Certificate 3 in Business Administration
• Intermediate computer, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage your own time and an ability to work autonomously.
• Have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity for analytical thinking and the ability to identify the key elements of complex issues and problems.
• A ‘can do’ attitude focused on delivering outcomes
• Commitment to a strong values culture and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
