The cooler months provide an important window each year to carry out essential maintenance and upgrades across the water delivery network.
Over the coming months, works will be coordinated with WaterNSW maintenance at Gogelderie Weir (9 June - 1 July) and Berembed Weir (2 July - 26 July). Aligning these activities helps reduce the number of shutdowns needed and minimises the overall time customers are without water.
While every effort is made to limit impacts, some temporary water shutdowns will be unavoidable. Completing these works during winter also helps reduce the risk of supply interruptions during the busier warmer months.
If works are planned in your area, you’ll receive an SMS ahead of time with specific shutdown details, as well as a notification when water supply is restored. Please note there will be no water available during shutdowns, so it’s important to plan your water needs in advance.
