Take advantage of MI's Overdraft Facility
For a limited time, irrigators with High Security Water Entitlements can access a small portion of next season’s allocation (up to 5% of their DEs) to help them better manage their Water Allocation Account (WAA) at the end of the current season.

- Application fee: $168 (Inc GST)
- Overdraft Fee: $50 per ML (Inc GST) multiplied by Overdraft Volume
- Repay by 31 July 2026

- Confirm your Delivery Entitlements
- Review the terms and conditions and sign electronically
- The form will then submit to MI for review

Eligibility criteria
To qualify for this offer, applicants must meet all of the following:
- You must have a minimum of 20 Delivery Entitlements (DEs)
- 5% of DEs is rounded down to the nearest ML
- Offer applies only to High Security water holders
- Water must be used on a property with a metered supply
- Water cannot be traded or carried over into the next season
- Applicant must not be in financial default with MI
Conditions Apply
This offer only applies to High Security water holders. All water used under this program must be repaid by 31 July 2026 to avoid additional fees and interest.
