Upgrades to strengthen water delivery outcomes
Work will commence later this year on a major upgrade to our irrigation network, that will improve water delivery for customers while supporting long-term community and environmental outcomes across the region.
Backed by a $110 million Australian Government investment under the Resilient Rivers Water Infrastructure Program, the Channel Lining and Piping (CLP) Project will be delivered in partnership with the NSW Government.
The project will modernise key parts of our network by sealing ageing channels, replacing sections with enclosed pipes, and upgrading delivery and release points. These improvements will help reduce water losses from seepage and evaporation, strengthen system control, and support more reliable and efficient water delivery to customers.
