Join a proactive and innovative regional organisation supporting one of Australia’s most productive irrigation communities. Murrumbidgee Irrigation (MI) is seeking a detail‑focused Regulatory Administration Officer to provide high‑quality administrative support across water transactions, EWON complaint management and company‑owned land administration.

About the role 

This position ensures accurate, compliant and timely administrative support across key regulatory, customer and property functions. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Maintaining accurate and compliant filing systems for water transactions 
  • Coordinating EWON complaint documentation, deadlines and communications 
  • Managing updates to MI’s company land register and supporting land transaction administration 
  • Administering contract records and ensuring contractor compliance documentation is up to date 
  • Contributing to a positive safety culture and modelling MI’s values in daily interactions 
  • Providing high‑quality customer service and supporting continuous process improvements 

What You’ll Bring:

Essential: 

  • Strong administrative capability with exceptional attention to detail 
  • Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, and business software (Microsoft Office and other systems) 
  • Understanding of irrigation, agriculture or related industries 
  • Customer service experience and sound knowledge of contracts and basic legal principles 
  • Ability to manage high‑volume data, analyse information and support decision making 
  • Current C‑class driver licence 
  • Knowledge of WHS principles and safe work practices 

Desirable: 

  • Certificate II–IV in Business Administration or similar. 
  • Qualifications in customer service or related field
