We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic IT Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to end users, contribute to the operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, and gain hands-on experience across a range of technologies. About the role 

MI is looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Officer with a passion for information systems and technology, excellent customer service and a continuous improvement mindset to join our Information Systems Team. This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Griffith, NSW. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain IT asset records, knowledgebase, and other support documentation.
  • Provide frontline service and support for information systems and technology.
  • Ensure that IT support requests are triaged, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes.
  • Assist with broader IT projects (Systems maintenance, hardware management, etc)
  • Perform IT user & system administration, and deployment of IT hardware and software

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated comprehension of Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems and related technology.
  • Understanding of information technology systems and strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing technical skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service and support
  • Be currently undertaking or have completed a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
  • Ability to apply and implement basic cybersecurity principles.
  • A high level of initiative, the ability to think laterally and work autonomously and within a team as required.
  • Ability to foster a positive and productive relationship with internal stakeholders and share knowledge and learnings. 
  • Commitment to a strong safety culture and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
  • Current ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence.
