About the role 
As our People and Culture Officer, you’ll be a key enabler of smooth and effective HR operations. You’ll support the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to employee development and offboarding—while maintaining systems, coordinating processes, and providing first-level support to employees and leaders. 
You’ll work closely with the People and Culture Business Partners and contribute to a positive, compliant and people-focused HR environment. 
Key responsibilities 
    - Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding processes 
- Maintain HR and L&D systems and records with accuracy and confidentiality 
- Prepare contracts, letters, reports and other documentation 
- Support payroll processing and resolve related queries 
- Assist with policy implementation and process improvement initiatives 
- Liaise with training providers and support learning and development activities 
- Provide responsive HR support to employees and leaders 
What you’ll bring 
Essential: 
    - Certificate IV or Diploma in HR, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience 
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills 
- Excellent communication and time management abilities 
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or HRIS systems 
- Current ‘C’ class motor vehicle license 
- Live in or be willing to relocate to the Griffith Area (or its surrounds). 
- Commitment to a strong values culture and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’ 
Desirable: 
    - Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field 
- Experience in payroll, WHS or training coordination 
- Understanding of employment legislation and enterprise agreements
