Steven Porter: General Manager Asset Performance and Delivery

Steven Porter commenced at Murrumbidgee Irrigation in 2024 and is responsible for asset management and capital works on Murrumbidgee Irrigation’s $0.6B infrastructure including Australian Government funded works such as the $124M Automation Finalisation Project and the upcoming $62M Urban Channel Replacement Project.

Michael Turnell: General Manager Legal & Regulatory Services

Michael Turnell joined the Company in 2017 as Legal Advisor, was appointed Company Secretary in July 2021, and was appointed as General Manager Legal & Regulatory Services in 2024. In addition to statutory secretarial duties and administering the business of the Board, Michael is responsible for managing the legal, regulatory, and policy functions of MI.

Lindsay Golsby-Smith commenced as General Manager Customer Services in November 2022, and this role was extended to include Water Delivery in July 2023. Lindsay is responsible for managing our customer services, water delivery and control room functions, ensuring that customers are the centre of what we do.
