Brett Jones: Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director

Brett Jones commenced as Chief Executive Officer in October 2015 and was appointed to the Board as Managing Director in July 2016. Brett is an experienced executive with qualifications in engineering, project management and finance.

Steven Porter: General Manager Asset Performance and Delivery

Steven Porter commenced at Murrumbidgee Irrigation in 2024 and is responsible for asset management and capital works on Murrumbidgee Irrigation’s $0.6B infrastructure including Australian Government funded works such as the $124M Automation Finalisation Project and the upcoming $62M Urban Channel Replacement Project.

Michael Turnell: Legal Advisor & Company Secretary

Michael Turnell joined the Company in 2017 as Legal Advisor and was appointed Company Secretary in July 2021. In addition to statutory secretarial duties and administering the business of the Board, Michael is responsible for managing the legal and compliance functions of MI.

Lindsay Golsby-Smith: General Manager - Customer Services & Water Delivery

Lindsay Golsby-Smith commenced as General Manager Customer Services in November 2022, and this role was extended to include Water Delivery in July 2023. Lindsay is responsible for managing our customer services, water delivery and control room functions, ensuring that customers are the centre of what we do.

Mark Dance: General Manager - Maintenance & Logistics

Mark joined the Company as Manager - Engineering Maintenance in 2023 and commenced as General Manager Maintenance & Logistics in March 2024. Mark is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all infrastructure that services MI’s customers, including storage, supply and drainage assets.

Annaliese Giason: General Manager - People & Culture

Annaliese joined the Company in 2021 and is General Manager for People & Culture. Annaliese is responsible for company and corporate communications, safety, and human resources.

Vivian Forner: General Manager - Finance

Vivian Forner joined Murrumbidgee Irrigation in April 2018 and is the General Manager, Finance. Vivian is responsible for providing sound financial stewardship to the organisation.

Andrew Pasquetti: General Manager – Information and Control Systems

Andrew Pasquetti joined the Company in 2008 and is the General Manager for Information and Control Systems. Andrew is responsible for managing MI’s Information Systems, Technology and Communications infrastructure strategy and performance.
