The irrigation water and drainage services we provide have helped create a diverse and highly productive agricultural region known as the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA). About the role
MI is looking for a talented Senior Systems Engineer with a passion for technology, the tenacity to drive change and see it through to delivery, and a continuous improvement mindset to join our Information Systems Team. This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Griffith, NSW.
In this role you will:
- Proactively seek and implement opportunities to drive technology innovation from planning through to completion.
- Maintain high standards of change management control.
- Develop and implement the necessary procedures, documentation, monitoring and governance to ensure high levels of system availability, reliability, performance, security, and recoverability are maintained.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience working as a Senior Systems Engineer in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrable expertise in the Microsoft stack including Azure, M365, Intune, Defender, Windows Server, Exchange and Active Directory.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure, systems and cloud services including monitoring, response and recovery.
- Experience in IT incident, problem and change management procedures.
- A passion for IT and a demonstrated interest in keeping abreast of changes in technology.
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Current ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence
